Dr. Treye Rosenberger is a distinguished mental health counselor, renowned for his expertise in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, fostering resilience, and enhancing therapeutic outcomes. As the owner and lead counselor at Principles Counseling Group, LLC, Dr. Rosenberger combines his extensive education and practical experience to deliver compassionate, effective care.
My Story
Dr. Rosenberger holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, along with dual master’s degrees in Educational Measurement and Statistics and Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of Iowa. His extensive licenses and certifications reflect his deep commitment to the field of mental health counseling.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Rosenberger is the Department Chair at Grand View University, where his academic research focuses on LGBTQIA+ counselors' experiences and the influence of sexual orientation on therapy results. His contributions to the field include published scholarly articles and presentations at professional events, emphasizing his dedication to inclusivity and advancing counseling practices.
Beyond his academic and clinical roles, Dr. Rosenberger is an active leader in organizations like the American Counseling Association of Iowa, promoting the counseling profession on both state and national levels.
