Matt Cohen is a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kansas. Combining his extensive academic background with years of hands-on experience, Matt is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care for individuals and couples. His expertise includes advanced therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and the Gottman Method, which he integrates into his practice to help clients overcome challenges and improve their relationships.
My Story
With a focus on creating personalized therapy plans, Matt ensures his approach is empathetic, practical, and tailored to meet the unique needs of his clients. Over his career, he has gained invaluable experience in various roles, including nearly a decade teaching at The University of Iowa. During this time, he enriched students' understanding of communication, mental health, and public speaking.
