Sarah Hosack is a dedicated Temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Central Iowa, specializing in providing support to diverse populations, including teenagers and adults. With a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Grand View University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from the University of Northern Iowa, Sarah combines a strong academic foundation with a deep commitment to her clients' well-being. She has been a proud member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) since 2021, reflecting her dedication to professional growth and ethical practice.
My Story
Sarah takes an integrative approach to therapy, incorporating evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). Her practice emphasizes collaboration between client and counselor, focusing on strengths-based strategies to empower individuals as they navigate life’s challenges.

In addition to her broad expertise, Sarah is trained in perinatal mood disorders through Postpartum Support International. She is passionate about supporting expecting and new mothers, as well as parents, during this transformative stage of life. Her compassionate and tailored approach helps individuals build resilience, find balance, and foster personal growth.
